As we have mentioned on many occasions, the use of sports glasses in sports is fundamental. But are all sports glasses worth in any sport?
The answer is no.
Recommended lenses for cycling, mountain and paddle:
For the practice of cycling, we recommend category 0-3 photochromic lenses since in most cases the light conditions are changing, we enter wooded areas, we leave between hours and sometimes at night. That is why we recommend this type of lens, in low light conditions the lenses are transparent and as the intensity of the light increases, the lens will automatically darken. In the following video we explain the operation of photochromic lenses:
Recommended lenses for water sports and road cycling:
For water sports we recommend lenses with polarized treatment that help us to combat the horizontal reflections caused by the sun's impact on the surface of the water.
In the following video we explain the operation of polarized lenses.
Sports lenses recommended for running:
In running, we recommend category 3 sports sunglasses, ideally with mirrors that help us fight the sun's rays and generate an optimal vision. If we run on straight circuits we recommend the use of polarized lenses. Sports lenses recommended for high mountain:
For high mountains and skiing we recommend category 4 sports lenses, since in these occasions the sun is usually very strong and this type of lens is darker than normal, providing perfect protection in these conditions.
